There is no way for us to tell you your password, but we can reset it for you. Complete this form to have a temporary password emailed to the address in your profile. If you encounter a problem, take a look at the Problems? section at the bottom of this page.

Here are the answers to some common questions about passwords:

Why can't you just mail me my password?
eLearningRecord's security system uses an irreversible encryption algorithm to protect your password, so there is no way for us to find out what it is. Submitting the above form randomly generates you a new one and mails it to you.
What if eLearningRecord doesn't know my email address?
Contact your programme administrator to have one added to your user profile.
What do I do if I don't know my username?
Your programme administrator can tell you your username.
I've never used eLearningRecord before. How do I get started?
Ask your programme administrator for your username and a temporary password to get you started. Once you have the details you need, you can change your password to something you can remember.
I don't have access to the email address I gave eLearningRecord. What now?
In the event you lock yourself out of your account, your programme administrator needs to authorise a change of email address. This is for security reasons.
Okay, I've reset my password. Why hasn't my temporary password arrived yet?
Your password reset notification should arrive within seconds. If it does not, consider the following possibilities:
  • Make certain that you are checking the correct email account. Your temporary password will be sent to the address you specified in your user profile.
  • The company that manages your email account may be experiencing a temporary failure. Wait a few hours and try again.
  • Your spam filter may be a little overzealous. Make sure our messages aren't being filtered!
If none of these helps, contact the System Administrator.
The temporary password doesn't work. What went wrong?
This can happen for a number of reasons:
  • You may be typing the temporary password incorrectly. Copy & paste it to be certain!
  • Make certain you are using the correct username.
  • Your account may have been locked.
